D4CR PRESENTS
Designing for Children's Rights is an international non-profit association committed to integrating children's rights into the design of products, interfaces, spaces, services, and business development processes.
Who we are
D4CR Tel Aviv is a local chapter of the global Designing for Children’s Rights community. Our members come from diverse backgrounds – designers, researchers, educators, and professionals from different fields – united by the commitment to ethical, child-centered design. We believe every child deserves to be part of shaping the world around them.
What we do
We host community meetups, co-design sessions with children, and workshops on the D4CR principles. Our community gatherings are a space for learning, exchanging ideas, and exploring how design can truly benefit children.
Designing for Children Meetup @ Wix
A vibrant community gathering in collaboration with WE – Women Experience and hosted by Wix. Inspiring talks by experts – Moran Tsur, Yael Ledrer, Inbar Veg, and Noa Ben-Haim Nitzan – explored the challenges and opportunities of designing for children, with plenty of insights, stories, and community spirit.
International Children’s Day Co-Design
Children took the stage to share their experiences in a panel and later joined design teams to co-create products inspired by the D4CR principles. This event highlighted the power of listening to children’s voices and designing with them, not just for them. Led by Dana Shaul Freud and Zofia Einhorn, with special thanks to Shuli Gilutz for moderating the panel and Inbar Veg for presenting the principles. The event was made possible thanks to the amazing children and volunteers who took part – a true glimpse of the magic that happens when we design together.
“On Principle” Webinar Series
An international webinar series hosting speakers from Israel and abroad who presented innovative projects and pressing issues around children’s rights in design. These online sessions opened the conversation to a broader community and created opportunities to learn from diverse perspectives worldwide.
